Fabians is a student (about to finish university) and k has worked for the association for years. Was it not clear by those facts that there was a pretty big age difference between them?
I was aware of the age difference and That’s why I said I wasn’t expecting the huge age difference after it’s been revealed . K working for the association for years does not prove his exact age. His age was speculated until the final revelation.

The Age Difference
Fabian is 25 and K is 36. I understand they are both adults but I was not expecting the huge age difference between them. I’m happy the artist drew them looking as adults unlike other BL artists with adults looking like underage boys….gross.
