certainly not in the first half, you know how these manhwa plots flow; but now there's no doubt this ones leaning more on comedic side than dramatic. but no matter the direction is, the last few chapters felt really half-baked nonetheless
The novel and manhwa both have a comedy tag, so I think it’s ridiculous on purpose. Like the whole concept is a guy sleeping with his ex’s dad.

idk how to word this but family affair synopsis really is a great dramatic plot if done well and in serious manner.
I believe most of Manhwa artist are overworked, I read somewhere that if a mangaka is struggling to meet deadlines, a manhwa creator is struggling to make ends meet.
take a break and plan the script, scene and plot carefully.
seriously this is getting weird. It's probably heading to the point where they'll just release whatever first comes to their mind just to meet deadlines and reach the ending at the earliest possible.
