No the exorcist is not '' leaving him '' !! He didn't !! The boy who is now a ghost, asked the exorcist to '' exorcise '' = '' unalive him as a ghost '' so that he can finally to die. But the exorcist is buying him some time.the boy's mother asked to bring back her son, so he's not going to ''unalive the ghost in him (his soul) '' he promised the boy that he would exorcise him, but he's just buying time to make the boy more at ease, so that they can relax. (And catch up some sleep.)
I dropped it after chapter 7... I can't accept the Exorcist behavior. Leaving MC for immediate cash (￣∇￣")
