“Shotacon, sometimes shortened to shota, is a Japanese slang portmanteau of the phrase Shōtarō complex. A Shotacon is described as an attraction to young, or young in appearance, fictional male characters.“
In my opinion it shouldn’t even be a genre but that aside, it is incorrect to show the child sexually. If you say “what’s sexual about this” stop right there. 1. You’re blind and you’re out of arguments or 2. You’re VERY NAIVE and this argument is not exactly for you.
If you say something like “shotacon is for depicting small young boys sexually” well you’re just automatically in the wrong.

I can tell you're very passionate about this and of course there's a massive issue with shotacon and lolicon but if you're actually looking to make a difference or change people's minds this really isn't the place. It's always possible to message authors on sites like twitter (x) if that's what you're going for, but especially on a manga like this which doesn't contain any explicit content or even mutual feelings there's not a lot of people who'll take it seriously.

“No mutual feelings”
Yuu should completely ignore tsubaki. Or be angry at him, or anything aside whatever the FUCK he’s doing. That’s it. It’s not being passionate, the overly confident need to understand that their pov ONLY won’t really make a difference. While it’s cute to you and “barely contains anything” it contains a lot and moreover it is an easily accessible manga, for that it contains A LOT. Good naive people continue to defend this piece of shit but the real weird ass people find it basically without searching for it and well FAP off.
See, weird people will fap off whether it’s a kid or a woman or is very modest, but the issue is, this is literally inviting those people. If it were modest it wouldn’t be a problem, but initially from modesty it went into something HORRENDOUS.
Shota con is literally a genre in itself. And I don't think the author is planning to make the kid a grown up anytime soon. So spare yourselves and leave if you aren't comfortable
