Agreed and take this with a grain of salt but I think the whole point of adding a new character is to give director kang some development… like we know ofc he loves yiyoung but i think this drama is for him to realize that despite what he says he wont be able to let yiyoung go peacefully if he someday wanted to leave him. I think it’s to prove that they both love eachother equally
I hope it’s not really that and more about resolving Kang’s insecurities. Yiyoung was hurt, sure, but he also has to stop being careless around that weird dude who knows he’s taken yet hits on him, and Yiyoung and Kang need to talk.
Not needing some third guy to fuel jealousy when it adds nothing nor contributes to Kang’s insecurity, it just makes it worse.
I figured Yiyoung needs some development as well. I don’t know what partner doesn’t see another partner’s insecurity. And Kang was also being a bit too much, I won’t disagree.
It just sucks to see someone insecure being more jealous. It’s uncomfortable lol

I don’t mind Yiyoung slapping some sense into Kangaroo, anything but him being near Doyeon’s butt crack.
I don't understand why you guys seem angry with the storyline in this new season, I think the author just wanted to add a little problem to their relationship, well if there is no problem why make a new season, right? The purpose of making a new season is to tell a new story from their story tho ╮(￣▽￣)╭
