
That's just it, T is not thinking logically at all. He's been ready to let E go, is forgiven and finds some hope for them being together, but now? E must feel hurt physically and emotionally, but because it's so sudden and neither of them knew, E is sure to just forgive this transgression. But T doesn't feel that he deserves that, even if neither knew, T was guilty of hurting E again and he cannot stand to see E hurt but willing to forgive again and again. E says it's the last chance, but he's kind enough to forgive him again, and T can't stand to face an E that will continue to suffer but forgive him. It's sad and somewhat maddening, but I understand the psychological pitfall T is in although it really is illogical to everyone else, especially E.
