If she was apart of a noble family they would’ve found her sooner cuz of her hair and that she was working for and is close to another noble
She doesn't think it's her because the public knows her as a daughter of a well known noble who she shares similarities with. So in her mind, it couldn't be the Duchess who has already been declared as someone else's child.
The reveal was a bit too obvious though. (￣∇￣") Actually it would be funny if the twist is the one who refused to get married at first was actually kidnapped ლ(´ڡ`ლ) but we just immediately thought of the Duchess because she doesn't actually belong to that family.
