Shouldn't there be more talk about what it means for grandpa to 'live'? How long? How is he alive? Is he able to walk around and live a normal life or is he lying on a bed just breathing.
The 'transactional' part doesn't bother me, he's a snake after all and the human is just making a deal . But that's why there is room for growth between them.
