Literally what I was saying! Like who gave you the gall to get mad and attempt to kill the one person who tries giving you advice. He was the one being prissy and saying brett shouldn't give him a sob story of how his brother (a beta) built himself up and he doesn't need his advice now here you are shooting up the party mad at the world like you weren't warned. He's such a despicable worm.
Everyone seems to feel sorry for Rex, and while I do feel a bit of pity for him, he’s truly a jerk for targeting Brett. There’s no justifiable reason for thií, looking at his attitude, it’s clear he’s jealous of Brett. It’s one thing to have a grudge against Nathan, but trying to kill someone and even planning to kill Brett at Brett’s own party, in his own house—that’s ruthless. Rex clearly wants to ruin Brett, whether by killing him or destroying his reputation. Brett’s situation is heavier than others might think, he’s an influential figure in the fraternity, so it’s inevitable that someone might take advantage of this to make things difficult for him, not to mention the trauma Brett will have to endure.
