That can happen with people with that body type. They can lose weight in their arms and neck also their stomach fro starvation but not their lower body and breast.
Yeah but it doesn't feel like it comes from "I wanna represent this type of body" but more of a "her having bigger arms would make her look fat and therefore ugly so people can't jerk off to it" especially with the lines about how she doesn't even try to get that kind of body because "dieting is for vain whores but if you look skinny without trying then you're superior to other women".
Another thing that shows this lack of intention is all the girls have the same arm width but varying boob sizes so you can tell the artist just doesn't wanna leave the comfort zone of "I only draw pretty and sexy characters and this is what I think that looks like."
Ok i see where ur coming from. I agree aith it in this context cause i also noticed that all the girls are unusually skinny and hv small long necks. Very intentional. I was wondering if this body type is liked by men in asain communities though.im not sure.. let me know
I'm pretty sure it's inspired by old manga art like sailor moon which had this style of long skinny necks but the girls tits or asses were rarely ever that big probably because the characters were inspired a lot by models as the artist herself loved fashion and clothing
The only gripe I have with the art style (other than the thigh gap and "wow she's so hot even though she doesn't diet or work out) the girl's arms are too skinny compared to her boobs. It's like strings on a balloon. Oh my god her arms are skinny and I can't stop looking.
