I got down voted like crazy for saying this under jinx. At least here there's a supernatural element here, but in jinx the grandma is old ASF and has cancer (I think?) it doesn't matter how much money or how many treatments she's gonna die. That's life... The moment you are born you start dying
Dying of old age is a natural occurence in life and honestly shouldn't be viewed negatively especially when it is a relief to some who suffered from pain through some sort of illness. I get not wanting to let go but if it means said person can finally be freed of their pain, as much as it would rip me apart, I'd just let the person go. But it is easier said than done.

especially when the one dying is someone’s last family member, someone’s only loved one. i understand the want to keep them forever but at the same time if it’s their time to go, let them go, especially when they’re suffering when they live
