Exactly my thoughts. So disappointing. It never needed that kind of toxic drama. Plus their relationship was already established and they build this trust, just to ruin it over a random guy.

I literally think of this as an alternate universe but with a different plotline lol. Though It’s refreshing to see Kang with lots of emotions in this compared to the main story. It has both of their perspectives too that’s why I love the writing of the author.
Oooookay. This used to be my favorite bl exactly because it wasn’t doing garbage yaoi tropes but now its taking a nose dive in that direction. God what a downgrade from the original series
