Hi its been a long time since i read it. But if i remember correctly, she was 13 and he was 22 when they met (anyone pls feel free to correct me if im wrong!)
he was 15 and she was 13 when they met
five years later he is 20 and she's 18

- he returned to palace when he was 15
- he got stabbed at 20 by sister
(?? i think this is a translation mistake, and it's supposed to be 15 yo as well)
- five years later he takes over the throne (so 20 yo, if previous was a translation mistake)
Seeing the age difference and him watching her grow up.... plus he knew she was 13 and a child...
anyways i know that historically it was normal back then.
