yeah i get it the reason he’s doing that is because he wants the mc to hate him, but the mc already hates him enough after witnessing him beating up a guy, revealing that ml is a loanshark himself, same as those bad guys from his childhood. WHY RAPE HIM??? i can think of a possible reason: it adds to the "angst" of the story. using rape as an element to the plot screams bad writing to me TT but yep it's just sad.
Yeah unfortunately a lot of BL authors do that but I have genuine love for this story so I’m not gonna drop it, I’m hoping he stops midway and realizes what he’s doing or something :/
Okay guys I agree I usually hate non con in BL but this is the ONE TIME I genuinely think it fits in the plot and makes sense and it’s not just there as like a fetish. The reason he’s doing that is because he wants the mc to hate him now. He thinks their relationship can never go back to what it was and he feel like he already traumatized him enough (kidnapping, handcuffs, making him witness a murder). ML (whose name we don’t know) hates himself for letting himself get so close to the mc, so he wants the mc to hate him too. Not defending these types of scenes, trust me I’ve dropped some of my favorite bls because of r*pe scenes like this, but I genuinely don’t think the author put it in just for fetish content like a lot of bl authors do.
