What I understand is guy challenged Jitae but also runs the club. Jitae is rich/powerful enough to close it, but since other VVIPs use the club, they don't want to lose their fun spot or get on Jitae's bad side
Hajoon acted like he was the king and he has so much power, while he is just a nobody. His club was opened by Suryeon and he only runs this club because of the higher ups are attending. And now they saw that Hajoon was ready to betray one of his top guests (Jitae and Jian) so who knows when he will betray others as well. And they like Jitae so they stood up for him. Ans of course they have the power to bring anyone down, Hajoon is a nobody to them
My thoughts are that these people don’t want the public to know they’re actually going to this kind of place. Everyone is afraid of losing their reputation if someone decides to snitch on that club/bar! While everyone is rich and powerful, Jitae is also fearless and has nothing to lose unlike them. He could call the cops without a care
