how did the ml find out the truth about the mc???

it was implied that ml had suspicions because he looked and acted like the prince but when he first got hold of of a mana shard and used his 4th tier mage powers (who the prince of stahss was the only one able to use) and put ray in jail, ray (mc) basically confessed to it while being interrogated by ml. it was confirmed between the two parties there.
