If you mean the dark hair (light brown now for some reason) then its a lot of reasons. He is a gambler who hates the Serpentes even tho he uses his casinos. He mostly wants power and money. He is also a womanaizer who only wants our protag because he cannot have her. Also pretty sure he wants the throne???
