it was supposed to be a lot more gruesome! i think ruby gets her head smashed against the mirror and she glass shards embedded all over her forehead and shit, it honestly gave me chills
there’s also a whole lot more tension when izek sees it in the novel, so much so that nobody moved for a good bit out of shock and pure rage (on izek’s part)
Right cus the way people we’re describing it made it seem like she’d get her head smashed into every single mirror and he would like beat her up on the floor or smth or that they would push eachother into mirrors, ima have to go read the novel for it I guess lol
I thought the mirror scene would be worse help
