This is not real life and drawing connections between fiction and real life is wrong. As to not understanding how an author writes a story like this, that's simple - it's because there's a substantial audience for it that includes YOU. An audience includes people who hate or love a story, because you write a story to invoke strong emotions - hate and love are 2 of those. On the other hand, someone that reads the summary and walks away quietly without further interaction is NOT the audience because the story has had no emotional impact on them.
No matter how much I think about it, I don't understand how someone write something like this, like what is the fucking point from such plot , anyone in real life would of killed himself or escaped, this is not love and all the characters are crazy I stopped reading it I can't read it anymore, and this coming from someone who read and loved killing stalking, but this .. this it too much
