46 chapters and not ONCE has she tried to go back home. Not even go into a library and do a bit of research. Not once has she questioned where the OG FL went. A scar suddenly disappearing due to a ‘special balm’ is plausible to her? She didn’t even look into it.

CERTAIN FUCKING AUTHORS. HAVE CERTAIN AND INDIVIDUAL UNIQUE FUCKING WAYS, ON HOW THEY DECIDE TO WRITE. AND PACE. THEIR STORIES. BE MOTHER EFFING PATIENT BECAUSE IT'LL GET THERE EVENTUALLY. HOLY FUCK. THIS STORY IS HELLA REALISTIC AND YOU THINK EVERY FL IS SUPPOSE TO JUST KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO WHEN THEY GET SPIRITED AWAY TO SOME MAGICAL NEW WORLD LIKE SOME OP GAME CHARACTER?!?! IT DOESN'T REALISTICALLY WORK THAT WAY. WE DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW OLD SHE IS YET, SO IF SHE'S A KID THEN WHAT?! YOU THINK SHE'LL KNOW WHAT THE FUCK TO DO NEXT? I don't think so. ( ⩌⤚⩌)

Real especially when her brother already called her out as a fake. Feel like would’ve been more realistic and interesting if they showed how desperate she wanted to return to her own world

You ranting and posting a comment here clearly tells that you're so into this story, and so am I. The author must be doing a great job riling us up like that huh. But, unlike you, I can resonate with her on a deeper level than any female protagonist in isekai stories. Also, just wanted to point out that not everyone has that mental capacity to function the same way any female isekai characters in those usual cliche manhwas we've read. If I have to be completely honest, this manhwa is by far the MOST realistic I've read after Kill the Villainess. Why? She responds and reacts to characters like ANY typical HUMAN would be and not just someone who can easily transition and adapt to a fictional world. Adding more to that, is her past traumas. Making a sense out of something completely foreign is tiring already, NOW she has to make sense AND adjust in CURRENT situation. Now, tell me... can you function well in that kind of state? Either way, I'd say that just makes this story a whole LOT better than any manhwa out there. You have to be patient and should learn to trust the process. Give her some slack and just enjoy the ride. Otherwise don't read and go back to reading your cliche stories. (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ

You have your opinion, and I have mine. I’m not asking that she suddenly adapts to the world but when someone constantly says they want to go back to their real world, and then do absolutely no research on how to get back over the course of 46 chapters, it’s a tad bit annoying. If you enjoy the story, good for you

And as for the balm part, it seems like she was a med student (judging by the scrubs and coat) so that’s why I was confused as to why she never questioned the special balm that ‘removed the scar’ of course this could change in the future but I’m just bringing up what I’ve read in the chapters.

I don’t think she’s a kid because in the first chap we see that she’s working as a student, I assume a medical student.

Listen, I’m just pointing out what I’ve read so far. I’m allowed to question these things. Of course it could be answered in the future. I never expected her to be OP or anything. Once again, my opinion. You have yours, I have mine.

Fully agreed with you. Sometimes when I read stories like this, i'm baffled when the characters don't follow inconsistencies in their reality and follow the thread to the logical end.

Like that is the whole point of being curious, readers as we all are just as the mc herself.

But I think everyone reads differently. There are logical readers & then there's the emotional readers. I think the difference in opinions is because of that... probably :D

Did you like… miss the part where they talked about her past in the real world? How she was abused and neglected by her only family member? While in this world she feels like she actually has a family and people that care about her, even though it’s nowhere near perfect?

46 chapter should’ve opened your eyes to make you realize the FL literally has no reason to go back. She was really miserable. But I guess you can’t ask media literacy from everyone

Imma be honest, you’re right. But what doesn’t make sense to me (at least this point in the story) is she WANTS to at least leave her house/survive but her only plan so far is to divorce the prince, then what? Also I assumed she wanted to go back because in the first chap she said that she had a friend, she worked so hard & now she was transported into another world as the villainess. Which now that I look back on it, I will say you’re right that she didn’t (at least) explicitly say she wanted to go back to her real world. I guess what’s frustrating me the most is the lack of questions on her part about simple things like the scar she had on her back disappearing. In my head I thought that she would at least look into it. It just feels like 46 chapters went by and she’s still stuck on the first point which is divorcing the prince and not having a rough plan on how she’s gonna survive. Once again, I know this can be answered in the future chapters, but this is what ran through my mind. I’m also aware that this is a historical manhwa so things take forever to get to the point, but these are what I pointed out and so far kind of disliked (personal preference).

Plus once again, MY opinion but as someone who didn’t read the entire novel that she ended up transmigrating into, I thought she would’ve been more cautious and ask more questions, like why did everyone hate the OG FL? How did she act? How would it be perceived if she (current FL) acted like herself (current FL) and not the OG FL? I lowkey forgot the plot so one of these could’ve been answers but that’s my thoughts

The thing is, she CANT ask questions. Because she’s already supposed to know the answer to all of them according to everyone around her. And her trying her best to not marry the prince is really the only thing she can do because she’s the one that has a say in it, and she also knows that she will avoid death by doing so.

And considering she wants to stay in that world, she’s gonna do anything to not die.

Asking questions doesn’t always mean asking them out loud to someone else. She could ask herself these and find out based on observations and deductions, and if she’s smart enough she can ask in a strategic way that won’t raise a red flag. Though she already did because so many of the characters are wondering why she changed so suddenly.
