The character is a well known martial artist with Chinese origin. Monks all over still use this symbol, its not some subliminal message supporting n4zis. You just had to correlate it that way instead

Right right, I suppose the most important thing here is the fact that the character has ties to Buddhism & china, and it would be unfair to ignore the symbol's prevalence in that area.
