Because it’s stupid to complain almost 50 chapters in. At the start is one thing, but this far in? Please, people just want to feel morally superior even though they’re getting their jollies off like everyone else here. It’s not that people don’t have a right to complain, it’s that it’s stupid and annoying. I can put my phone on speaker and talk in a waiting room. There is no law against it, but everyone knows it’s still wrong. I don’t know about op, but I like to read comments to get updates on situations. I’m sure lots of people who read the comments do the same. I wouldn’t have known about the artist having issues if I didn’t read the comments here. It’s the same thing week after week of the same people pretending they don’t like the work despite reading it every update, like the hypocrites they are.

There will always be criticism on every work. People complain about work, and you complain about people that are complaining. It's your problem if you find it annoying even though it has nothing to do with you personally.

Now, what some people, including me, are "complaining" about, is not just the work itself, it's the people who are excusing it because it's "just" a piece of fiction, just to excuse themselves and even argue about it.

You know that not everyone started reading this at the same moment you did right? Every time someone new finds this and reads it - some chapters or all, doesn’t matter- they’ll voice their opinion on it regardless.
