NO, the authors write love triangles for this EXACT same reason!! Lol Love triangles is the most exciting, crowd-pulling plot in yaoi! The authors always know the endgame, but they enjoy the drama and fighting among the fanbase which makes their work popular both on legal and illegal sites helping them sell more chapters on legal site. If you were to become an author, you should consider a love triangle as it's guaranteed to bring you success!
