I always find it funny how quickly people change their minds in these kind of stories cause:
BEFORE: OMG this power is sooo super duper ultra mega special and unique, there is only a handfull of people who can obtain it and especially if there is a power that no one was able to possess for centuries, they are like OMG whoever gets this power is basically going to be a God on earth, i cant wait for someone to get this power ヾ(☆▽☆) A normal person (or in this case an orphan) gets the SDUMS&U power AFTER: UGH EWWWW dont You dare think that you are special cause you got THAT power, it won't change that you are still a piece of s*it, i really don't understand what's so special about getting THAT power, i mean since it choose you it must be completlly worthless and ussleless (●￣(ｴ)￣●) You should totally forget that until last week we were worshiping that same power that we now call "Nothing Special" ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ Im always suprised to see just how stupid people get in these kind of situations, but also satisfied to see MC's put them in their place (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
