I think she’s strong in very meaningful ways, she’s determined, hard working and brave, she also has her heart in the right place and much more. This is being strong in my book.
But I’m actually probably saying the same thing as you do, it’s refreshing to be away for Op characters with super powers , girl wielding sword or political / business monsters . It’s indead very nice that she’s very normal in many ways. :)
I’m also glad we evaded the prophetic and exhausting « life in a novel « anon top of all you mentioned :p
Also it’s so good that the story is not in the north, and as you said, the ML and the FL are neither jaded, cold or ridiculously indifferent, which is so good ! It kind of feels wholesome to see characters with maybe … complete feelings ?

You said everything I had in mind while reading this! I love how the base plot might be the cliche isekai but the characterization of all the characters, progress of the story, and perfectly paced execution of the supporting plot is very good. Plus suuuuper pretty art of course. It felt like reading a properly written story with a clear plot ahead, with no plotholes. I hope this story stays this way!
I love that for once we don't have strong FL like strongest warrior or smartest scholar or the most divine saintess, no she's just an exorcist with relatively weak body and what makes her human is her unwillingness to help at first because it's understandable that even if you can see ghosts doesn't mean you can get used to their presence.
I also love the clear assimilation to this isekai world, where FL clearly knows hers and OGFL's memories are slowly becoming one. Unlike other stories where it's only brought up once at the beginning that they were transmigrated but then the author forgot about it for the next 100 chapters and acted like FL has always been OGFL which doesn't make sense.
Also, ML is such a character! He's expressive, boyish and a bit tsundere. What a nice change of pace from the usual boring cold ML.
