So this confirms it, Lorkan does not love or like Brian nor Ian in the slightest, he just obsess with him because Brian made Sol change so much. He just wanted to possess him, to have him. Maybe he believe that by possessing Brian will automatically give him what Brian and Sol have.
He's so twisted. I see the difference between Sol and Lorkan. While Sol is definitely overprotective and worry about Brian, he tried to stop him but soon give in. Sol is not putting Brian in a cage like a bird with clipped wings. He supports him while still looking after him but Lorkan is different. He may have found Ian first but he's put him in a cage and clip his wings, preventing Ian from spreading his wings and tasting what true freedom is but when Ian met Sol, he became free and true to himself.
I just wish Brian fought Lorkan instead of breaking the contract with killing Brian and then waiting for Brian to be reincarnated to form a contract with him.
