I guess but I dont think he would've started a relationship with him if he only saw him as a child. Plus since he's mostly around older people he probably picked up on some of there habits making him act older than he really is XD. His love language could be acts of sevrice.
You see, that's the problem with age gap. The older one looks at the younger one as a child and tries to act as a parental figure, not a partner.
