Exactly my thought! It's surprising how misogynist (only little have misandry but toxic masculinity is everywhere) authors (women especially) can be. Most bLs I've read (not all but majority) use SA, rape, bitchy u-must-hate-this-women, trashy unsalvageable seme/uke but only gay women will be favoured by all in their plot as a stepping stones oh but wait, the unsalvageable gay guys will be loved by all because they're yada yada yada...while the hetero are beyond savings.
Too much biased alert & too much typical set up,,,, guess the authors wanted an easy way to grab readers attention be it +ve or - ve.
And Atp, I'm just nagging by myself in disbelief..Lol

But in this webtoon, all the charas are....i don't know, better read and forget. Diving deep into this will only makes us frustrated.

I couldn't agree more and this problem is prevalent in straight mangas too... Like women who are open in liking men are bad? Openly flirty women, or hyper-feminine etc. It's always women against other women and men are never at fault... Probably the reason so many women prefer bls (and are attacked bcs of it). But unfortunately bls also have this problem but much less then before bcs authors prob see how bothered the readers are and it makes me so happy!! If we consider old bls and shojos this is so vanilla lol

I don’t think she would have given up at all, considering he told her at the very beginning he was in love with her brother, that in of itself goes beyond denial however she’s not just guilty of being in denial she’s guilty of being

1. Homophobic
2. Selfish for ignoring the fact that her brother and ML we’re obviously in love and in some type of a relationship before she self inserted herself and thinking she could win over a GAY man
3. Bratty for throwing a temper tantrum about them being together even though her and ML are already divorced

Now I do hate that she had to be the bad guy and I agree with how it is really annoying that the women is always the bad guy in every BL but she’s not being hated on for no reason because she’s just as toxic and selfish as everyone else in the story they all need equal hate.

Also forget the plot and genders for a second am I the only one who think it’s trashy to pursue someone who admits to being in love and in some type of relationship with your sibling? Like is that not insane????

Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought he admitted to being in love with her brother when he was already in a fling with her (I might be wrong cause different timelines got mixed up). But didn't Sang-Hyeon accept her offer to date after his fling with her brother?? He is obv very messed up himself... But I do agree that her reaction was homophobic... Maybe that's what pushed Sang-Hyeon over the edge and he did nasty stuff that he did... Anyways she is as wrong as both of them... Her comment could have been homophobic but it could just have been denial of what was happening (still not ok ofc). But yes you kinda helped me see this in a new light and instead of taking sides we should hold everyone responsible! Probably what author also wanted, basically everyone is selfish!

I liked and totally agree with your take on BL authors definitely having a thing for only keeping the gay characters good guys and the hetero ones not so much but I think the author it trying a different approach where everyone literally sucks lol. And no the ML and sis weren’t already together he confessed before they got together, which is why I think she said something like what she said after he told her. Basically she confessed to liking him, he rejected her because he loves her brother and then she basically said why not just give a relationship with me a try fuck my brother type deal. At least that’s what I got but it’s still kinda confusing so I feel you
