When it happens I think its mostly a selfish choice. Having to hide something so important to you from someone just as important in your life can be very heavy on your mind
Noy healthy in a way so I understand an author wanting their character being 100% true to their loved one.
But there's also that it's a work of fiction and some readers would complain if there's was still some unclear parts of the story as it ends. Authors choose to avoid that mostly
Idk why but I always feel like exposing your time travel is unnecessary... Like things would have progressed smoothly even if you don't tell rudiger and telling him will only lead to confusions and unnecessary drama. Why dig up skeleton which were buried in past life?
