I felt like pulling teeth until the got together... didn't want to drop it but wanted to end quickly. It felt like it was too boring with too many convenient situations and absurd comedy. And it was kind of anticlimactic time after time- you thought something was gonna happen, it was led to it, but the author found a way out of things that could had spiced things out and instead piled up a lot of halves things(?).
I was absolutely smitten by Hashimoto tho. She's so cute I was rooting hard for her all the time- also found her super emotionally intelligent it was hard not to rot for her. At the 2nd half I liked it tho. The main couple is kinda cute it grows on you.
i get what you mean. it's like the author did not expand on the serious points of the story in fear that it will lose its light-heartedness and comedic atmosphere.
