I think he was acting like he was unaware of everything
but the whole scene with the friend/co-worker was him realising he had feelings for Yoon.
No, he asked the girl, that Yoon not wanting to see him with girls means that Yoon likes him. (The conversation started somewhat like this: “is it about the person you like?” He replied “How did you know?” Which means he is fully aware he likes Yoon, he’s just surprised the girl knows he likes someone. And then they continued to the “I don’t know if the person likes me back” topic)
He knew he liked Yoon, he was unsure about what Yoon feels about him. Which is inline with what’s going on in these chapters, he doesn’t want to ask Yoon, but keeps testing him, because he suspects Yoon likes him back.
(It’s a bad tactic, always testing, he even lies to see a reaction, but I guess we wouldn’t have 90% of the BL stories if the characters knew about communication from the get go)
