Some people don’t process what’s happened to them as rape right away, when I was SA’d by someone I considered my friend he literally tucked me into bed and told me he loved me I was unable to comprehend what had occurred so I said I love you back and then I reported him the next day - I do get the frustration though cause reading that I felt the same way as what you said
