I agree. I actually felt sorry 4 Giselle and the maid, because their positions in life already sucked 2 begin with. The FL is so rich and powerful, I can't help but feel she's being petty, and getting carried away with all this revenge business. It's like, just dump the guy, drop the maid, and be done with it. Her status is such, that she can recover quickly and simply move on. What they did was shitty, but they don't deserve to have their lives completely ruined for screwing around. Rich girl should just cut her losses, and be glad she never married the guy.

While yes, that is true. Anger makes a person act in ways that isn't always going to be rational. Giselle and Melissa practically bit that hands that fed them and chose the wrong one to backstab. Plus, not all was entirely over the top, she took down the guild who not only did illegal business but owed her family. She killed multiple birds with one stone. Of course, leeway help from the bored Emperor but most of it was her doing. A woman's anger is scarier than one may think
Anyone else feel like it's more the social hierarchy and lack of social mobility that's the real villain at this point?
Like....you can't sit somewhere even if you have a ticket??!!(╯°Д °)╯╧╧
You're considered 'illegitimate', so aren't viewed as noble enough and are *CONSTANTLY* discriminated against by both your own family and society.
And if you are a noble the academy, which is crucial for any sort of standing, costs a small fortune that only can be afforded by the top of the top of the nobility
