Guys the point is that both of them are not good at communicating, Leo’s in his own little world and JJ is suffering because of the way he’s being affected by Leo’s outlook in life. I don’t think anyone would appreciate having the person you’ve liked for so long treat you like a walking dildo. The story is probably a way to demonstrate how they develop as characters and how they will eventually become lovers suited for each other. We just need to be a little more patient before that happens
