For me it’s less about whether Leo is innocent or not and more that it’s very obvious that Leo isn’t self-aware or observant when it comes to feelings (himself or others). So while we can say Leo has likely banged JJ and ran off like in theta first chapter, Leo also just by virtue of the being the bottom wasn’t physically hurting JJ. That doesn’t make what Leo did better, but it 100% makes what JJ did worse. Even more so when you consider that JJ, unlike Leo, is VERY aware of everything and consciously choosing to behave this way. It’s not an excuse and he definitely needs help to be better but so far most of Leo’s problems seem to stem from him being really fucking dumb while also probably having the focus ability of someone with ADHD. To me it looks like Leo is an unintentional asshat and JJ is just straight up a flaming asshole
