I agree that Shino is a crap father.. and that Ten fella... is just not likeable.. to me most of the manga is rushed and the characters have no substance especially Shino..I mean he is so 2 dimensional that it is hard to feel sympathetic to him.. as i got closer and closer to the end I really felt indifferent and perturbed about it.
It could have been so much better with the focus placed more on his son than him cuz he's dumb as his son told him straight...
Ten is too arrogant especially in the ending... I know this is a manga but in real life Ten would be missing Ten teeth for his behavoir....
It's irritating when a manga has good components but is never developed properly to invoke great emotions... this wasn't a comedy or slice of life .. it was just random ramblings that was forced to a conclusion
clap clap - well said. The son is the only likable character and he is 100 times more responsible than the father. He wasn't responsible with the mom or the son, putting himself first all the time. urg.. left a bad taste in my mouth...
Shino is a shitty father, his son disappeared, he seemed concerned but in the moment he saw tenryu he forgot about his son until the day he freaking reappeared.
Nakaya is better off without him. And tenryu asking "can you give him up" Oh, fuck you, okay? Is his freaking father he doesn't need to give any fucking thing up.
Family plotted my ass! He barely cared for his son, there where moments that they didn't saw each other for days. And seriously, your son goes missing and what you do? You fuck?
Basically the writer used Nakaya whole existence just to create the drama they wanted, they weren't considerate enough to make it fine.
and the end? You let him go but only went to see him after more than a whole fucking month?
I would hate a father like Shino, wishing I'd never met him. I hate when parents put their lovers before their children, you don't put a human, a life in the world if you ain't willing to take proper care of them.
