**No spoilers, just my speculation**
Yes, definitely worth it.
I do wish the pacing was better in the first season, because I got bored and stopped reading for quite a while to let it get ahead so I could binge through some of the slow stuff. It finally picks up the last 5 - 10 chapters of season 1, and season 2 got me stuck in HARD.
I'm hoping that from here on it will continue like that, as my mind is just buzzing from the idea of the Xinlu story arc, plus FINALLY getting to be reunited with Jaeui.
Ilay is going to continue being Ilay, so you do have to be able to enjoy the toxic nature of his relationship with Taeui. At least the chapters are nice and long.

I read all the novels and I have to say Ilay has such a satisfying character development ngl. I’m not sure if just PASSION would be able to show that because Diaphonic symphonic and passion suite is also crucial as part of his development. It’s a really slow burn romance so if you hate it, it’s better to just drop it

After everything he did? Any amount of character development isn't gonna make up for it in like... FOREVER. I lost count of how many times I yeeted my damn phone while reading any scene where Ilay is present. His handsome face and charming personality doesn't really make up for everything he does or ever did.
Okay, help. So far, this is such a long story to read... Is it worth it?
Tell me your honest thoughts and review. I need to know:
Character development?
Characters?
Story?
Angst?
Toxicity?
Melodrama?
On a scale of 0-10 how toxic is this? Is this a love triangle or?!
