He created this image of her as an angel of salvation. He thought she would rescue him, but the reality she was just a normal girl but a bit naive due to how she was brought up. When that illusion was broken for him he started treating her badly. He wanted to try damage her mentally and emotionally as much he was and more and did all these things to her.
He knew she was the daughter of the bad guy, he was working for her father. And under her fathers command so many of his colleagues died and he wanted revenge.
Basically the ML is an asshole who made assumptions of one person and when that person was different in real life he became resentful.
Just cauth up. Can anyone explain the reason ML hates FL? I don't understand, he always saw her in the palace playing, but he didn't know she was his daughter? wasnt he a spy? maybe it was all war talk, but I didn't understand any of it
