Yes it annoys me- but he has trauma that probably does make him feel like no relationship will last. He feels he’ll just get dumped and hurt again.
It's hard to trust when he has been cheated on, and based on what he said last, it was done multiple times by different boyfriends. But in all fairness to him, he did try. The one in the car where he said, he'll just take it if ml says he did.
Does the mc have a inferiority complex or kind of like that? Am I the only one who got pissed that he just make an assumption because of what he heard? And didn't bothered to listen to the ML?
