??? Irrelevant how? Because Ciel has gone through shit, he's become very cold towards other people. You do realize he wasn't like this when he was younger, right? LOL.
And what I meant by everyone has gone through shit is that everyone has their own set of problems. Ciel is very insensitive to others, and always pushes people away, even though they are probably hurting just as much as he is, and still try to reach out to him regardless. So my point I was trying to make was that he acts like a dick to everyone around him, and it's messed up.
He, on purpose, refrains from becoming happy and is insensative towards others. He made up his mind (in the flashback chapters) that he would choose revenge over happiness. If he chose happiness Sebastian would just immediately eat him anyways.
I've never liked Ciel. I don't hate him, but I can't like him, either. And I know he went through some shit, but other people go through shit too. I wonder if at any point in the manga he'll start /actually/ opening his heart up to others ;; there are so many times where the mangaka makes a chapter all cheery and has everyone working together for a good cause, and it makes it seem like Ciel is actually having fun. And then we realize he's just using everyone as tools, like always, and it makes me so sad tbh
also, I love Soma too fucking much for him to die. if he dies i literally will not be able to continue reading this manga. He and Agni are my favorite characters and I'm not ok with either of them dying no ty nope.
