You literally lack reading comprehension if this is what you concluded on. This entire time the only thing the fl ever asked for was an explanation but the ml was always silent about it. He was ready to give her anything but what's the point when he can't give her the only thing she asked for which is not even much. In The entire story literally everyone is keeping secrets from her, imagine how frustrating it must be for her to be in the dark about everything. The only person she can rely on is herself so what else can she do other than pity herself.the ml too was just letting himself be swallowed by his self hatred but that's not a problem? No I don't. I think you have the lack of reading comprehension skills since you are too biased that she clearly refused too listen him after their marriage . It is understandable that she was depressed and had hard time with accepting things but she had plenty time to think about her situation and she did not.

Just because she suffered a lot doesn't mean she is clever or common sense. I am into well written chrachters not one that simply ignores and regret things later.
Btw I never said male lead was excellent as well. He also is stupid in many aspects . He could have make things easier for her , gain her trust from very start, or forcefully (I mean like shouting form her closed doors not physical force of course) make her listen her story etc. He was a bit too "sacrificial" idiot that believed everything was his mistake. But since my main focus is female lead, I was disappointed more with her chrachter.
I dont like the female lead. I could understand her anger in first few weeks but despite his tries to communicate with her she simply ignored him. And it's her fault. It is not a short period 2 YEARS. and it is a forced marriage but she did not do her single responsibility as a wife and what bothers me is that she did not questioned why she was not have to do them . Like ma'am you are acting like your world destroyed but you do not question your existence and the reason why you are there for years. Furthermore, she doesn't question how and whose permission she get to go back, she doesn't think what she left behind , she doenst think what will happen in future etc. She simply doesn't think ╮(￣▽￣)╭
If you claim that because she is "ill" and "abused" for these years it is more reason for her to think a way to get out of that country by asking or questioninh her circumstances while she was at the palace.
And even if you say she was "too ill" in that time , ehen she was heallthy and came back to her country it is only natural for her to think a way to not go back to that country , not simply forgot that she is married ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
And she is not even questioning the necklace or how she is miraculously healed. If her brother says so, she is fine.(￣∇￣")
Overall my judgement is that she is stupid. She suffered which is unfortunate but she is stupid with her life decisions and only thing that protects her is the plot armor ╮(￣▽￣)╭
We will probably see her "realization " in the next chapters probably and she will be like "OMG, how stupid I was, he sacrificed his life for me " aamnd then boom! Time will be reversed (probably)..
