they created another separate field before the fight. the action was seen through a snap of the fingers by kaiden 2/3 chapters back iirc (same for other major fights as well that happened in the cities)
I think everything goes back to the way it was before the shield goes up and as long as a barriers up the outside world has no clue what’s happening. At least that’s what I’ve got for this.
So you just minding your own bussiness they snap a finger and you freeze, they blow you the f up into smitherines and when the fight is over another snap and you are back to making that sandwitch at 3am in the kitchen?
More like the entire fight happens in a separate dimension.
As long as the barrier doesn't break the dimension will hold all the damage and not transfer over.

I've been wondering for a while but are there no people living in those building? How many innocent people blew up while they are fighting? Also aren't awakened people supposed to be a secret? Even if they put up a shield how are they gonna explain all that destruction? And I ask again what about the people who are still in there?? Its like the middle of the city
