i don’t really remember the plot exactly, but it was similar to what you described. the student described it as a one-sided “relationship?” with his teacher — the teacher was making moves on him, etc. He specifically stated he didn’t like it at the beginning. years later, they attend a wedding (i think) together and saw each other. The student had on the watch the teacher gave him. the teacher noticed him but didn’t mention the “relationship” they had during school. the teacher was acting friendly with other past students at the reunion and it made the student jealous. and at the end, the student revealed that he actually had feelings for the teacher too.
