So...He is raped by his half-brother after being drugged and tied up in ropes because he always had a crush on him. His fucked up brother is both a sadist and a masochist and he has been obsessed with his brother, our poor suiying.
Li yu comes to save him but it was too late, he almost beats him half to death. Suiying forgives Li Yu since he was almost about to do something illegal to make money to repay suiying and they get together in the end and live in that house that Li Yu was going to surprise him before when Suiying found out the truth and smashed everything there.
Suiying doesn't go after his rapist brother because it would ruin his family's name but still has to go some family gathering and be gossiped about behind his back and has to see his rapist brother. Personally I wanted him to FUCK him up. But alas, fuck this manhua anyway so read it with the brain closed.
He kinda breaks the heart of little pink haired cutie in the end since he'll only love Li Yu who sorta makes up for his actions but idk Suiying should've taken him back, you can forgive him but not get back together. You could never trust someone who betrayed you like this.

After reading the novel, I thought I wouldn't be so infuriated but omg, fuck this. I cannot even IMAGINE the mental strength Jian Suiying has...like I cannot even imagine. He's a tough cookie. So much self-control, self-confidence...this is the type of strength one has when they have a clear-conscience and belief in themselves. Even if that BITCHASS fucker took his whole company, does it mean he will know how to run it? Stealing company's shares and running that company are 2 different things. If karma is real, this would go to bankruptcy so quickly. Moreover, suiying got his house back which is so...precious. if I were the dad, I would've offed myself after my first son said that to me. That whole speech was so moving.
Also, I'm amazed that we are getting so triggered over the betrayal and what not, but also i could also calm down and feel relief when all of this shit ended.
But having read the novel, we know the worst is yet to come suiying hang in there
