Did you start from ch1? The manga goes into more detail than the anime did, it more wordy, but doesn’t compare to how much information the light novel will give you.
Honestly no I usually started from where the anime left off in most mangas, it’s too wordy so sometimes it hurts my eyes so I skip if there’s a bunch of words, my bad habbit I know
I would suggest you try going back to ch1, might be easier to read knowing you seen the anime.
