Yes. He was horrible the entirety of their first life. They had a little moment of romance until MC gave up the information that his step dad kept hounding him for so then the ML started treating the MC like shit again because he felt betrayed. This story is one of those cases where the MC settles. What the ML did is not redeemable.
Just to add to the context:
He felt betrayed because he thought Sejin never loved him. He could have overlooked the information leaked if only Sejin made up any excuses and gave him any reasons but Sejin did not. So Ido in the past thought that he was not so important as to spare even just one excuse. So he felt used.
