I think that was the point...
MC wasn't interested in emotional or even physical affection. The sex was simply a means to an end. I suspect all of his experiences have been such and thus, he's uncomfortable with actual intimacy. He said it himself: the sex was just to tame the beast.
And after, he showered and wrapped himself in a blanket as a silently loud message that he was not interested in cuddling.
Am I the only one who thinks the sex was really awkward? Like yeah they don’t have a deep emotional connection yet but you don’t need that to draw satisfying sex scenes. It just seemed rushed and without any passion lol, I was expecting a lil more
