you're not wrong, it long. while I haven't read it yet to tell if it's dragging I could say for sure that the hype died down and it isn't as popular anymore since the story doesn't seem to move forward

Lol please. If you want a well written storyline I invite yo read Wet Sand, Shutline or Night Song to cite only a few. This story is a total non sense dragged to the extreme. How can you take the plot seriously when it started off with a bunny costume mystery
Nowadays Yaoi have fried yall brain so bad cuz if you cant recognize the huge développement we are getting in this story... then I dont know what to tell you. Its sad honestly and it why we have such bad and boring yaoi lately
Man i wonder what would happen if people like OP actually read a novel. They'd probably be bored a tenth of the way.
I myself got bored really fast and it's due to ADD ... I loved the idea of reading a novel, but I lost focus and interest very fast... however I started reading a lot of novels bit by bit and now I'm happy that I didn't give up! Some stories are worth each second you spend on them! So this is my advise for the OP, don't give up on good stories, try to improve your reading habits!
The most dragged story ever. Almost 100 chapters of uke wanting revenge and doing basically nothing. The plot and the script really suck. Good thing the art is next level. It truly saved this BL
