Ig it's all along the lines of " I pity you", and in everything fictional ( for some people in rl as well im sure) it's seen as a bad thing, cause it's makes someone think ' who are you to feel bad for me? Are you that much better off that you also have time to worry about my problems?' but also could be cause it makes a situation seem worse if a bystander who isn't even involved feels "bad for you"

Not entirely sure but it goes the same in real life. Something along the lines of vulnerable people not wanting to feel vulnerable by having someone feel sorry for them cus it makes them feel like a burden.
Or it makes them feel like they were not on equal standing. Like all of the other party's actions towards them were all out of pity and not what they truly intended to do.
Other times it's their pride and ego talking like "how dare u feel sorry for me. Who do u think u are?"
Jiho is an incredible idiot and I am so angry at him. I have one question tho, why in comics, manga manwhas etc, the "I felt sorry for you"is such a bad, betraying sentence? If you see someone is struggling don't you feel sorry that they are? Or dose it have some other meaning?
