Well, there's is no satisfying redeeming part for him but from what I've read, he did accept the fact that Agnes and his mother shouldn't be compared and overlapped to each other. He soon respects the two's relationship after he sees how both of them love each other, thus leaving the capital before Ml and Mc's wedding.

I hate that the MC's brother kept trying to get in the way of their relationship, he made MC have more confrontations with Raymond because he was convinced she'd fall back in love with him and he disliked Kylo. I felt like pulling my hair out cause this was a reoccurring theme in the story up until Raymond left the capital...
